Installation steps for a direct-cooling block ice machine
1. Air-cooled integrated machine installation steps: 1) Place the machine at the installation location and ensure it is level (for air-cooled integrated machines, if using water for defrosting, the ice maker's defrost water inlet should be 2CM higher than the defrost water outlet). 2) According to the power requirements of the equipment, connect the power supply to the machine's electrical box and secure the power cable. 3) Open all the valves in the system pipeline. 4) Power on the machine. If there are no faults displayed on the touch screen, it indicates the machine is functioning normally. If there are faults, troubleshoot according to the machine's common fault solutions, and after resolving the faults, start the machine to make ice.
2. Evaporative Cooling Integrated Machine Installation Steps: 1) Place the machine in the installation location, making sure the ice maker's defrost water inlet is 2CM higher than the defrost water outlet. 2) According to the power requirements of the equipment, connect the power supply to the machine's electrical box, and secure the power cord tightly. 3) For the evaporative cooling air outlet, a duct is needed to exhaust the air outside. 4) Connect the water pipes for the evaporative cooling system, add water to the evaporative cooler, and check whether the evaporative cooler's water pump and fan are rotating correctly. Looking from top to bottom at the evaporative cooler's fan blades and the water pump fan blades, clockwise rotation indicates correct operation. 5) Open all the valves in the system pipeline. 6) Power on the machine; if there are no faults on the touchscreen, it indicates that the machine is functioning normally. If there are any faults, troubleshoot according to the common fault solutions for the machine and then restart the ice-making operation after resolving the issues.
3. Installation steps for the water-cooled integrated machine: 1) Place the machine in the installation location, ensuring that the ice maker's defrost water inlet is 2 cm higher than the defrost water outlet. 2) Connect the power supply to the machine's electrical box according to the equipment's power requirements, and secure the power cable tightly. 3) Install the cooling tower according to the installation instructions (there is a separate cooling tower installation video). 4) Connect the cooling tower water pipes, fill the cooling tower with water, and check whether the cooling tower's water pump and fan are rotating correctly. Look from above down at the cooling tower's fan blades and water pump fan blades; clockwise rotation indicates correct rotation. (Note: The installation position of the cooling tower's water pump should be below the cooling tower water level, and the pump should be close to the cooling tower.) 5) Open all valves on the system pipeline. 6) Power on the machine. If there are no faults on the touchscreen, the machine is normal. If there are faults, resolve them according to the common troubleshooting methods for the machine before starting ice production.
4. Water-cooled, evaporative-cooled, and split installation steps for the unit and evaporator: 1) Connect the return air pipe and liquid supply pipe of the unit. 2) Leak-test and pressurize the machine; the pressure for leak testing should not be less than 16 kg, and the pressurization time should not be less than 24 hours. 3) After confirming there are no leaks, release the other substances from the machine, add oil to the machine, install the liquid supply and return air filters, vacuum the machine; after the machine pressure gauge reaches -1, continue for 5 hours, then add refrigerant to around -0.2, vacuum to -1 again, and then start adding refrigerant. (Note: Refrigerant can only be added from the high-pressure side of the machine; adding from the low-pressure side may cause machine damage.) 4) After completing this step, follow the remaining steps for water-cooled integrated machines and evaporative-cooled integrated machines. After the machine starts, add refrigerant from the low-pressure side. When the compressor discharge temperature is below 70°C, stop adding refrigerant. If the temperature rises after stopping, continue adding refrigerant.
